Silicone blankets are essential for protecting the glass during everyday use and keeping your utensils safe on the glass surface even when your customer doesn’t take the same care as you do with your buffet.
The Smart Bases offer an even greater highlight to the overmount Thermoelectric Glasses and their two finishing options fit into any type of environment.
The Smart Bases are offered in 2 material options, polished stainless steel and black carbon steel. Each material gives a different finish to your buffet.
Stainless steel is laser cut and polished to offer a modern and sophisticated finish that further enhances food presentation and highlights the Thermoelectric Glass.
Carbon steel is finished with black electrostatic painting, which gives the base a finish that refers to cast iron, a rustic look reminiscent of wood stoves and farm utensils.
Silicone Blankets protect Thermoelectric Glass, avoiding scratches and shocks against the surface or sides of the Thermoelectric Glass.
In addition to protection, the silicone pads facilitate the Thermoeletric Glass hygiene, once they can be removed from the buffet and cleaned in the kitchen, so that your equipment is always clean.

Pre-Operation: The pads must be positioned on the glass screen printing without covering the safety warnings. Be careful to keep them free from folds to ensure durability. For the smart bases, just ensure that the feet with suction cups are secure on your counter.
During Operation: The pads will heat up with the Thermoelectric Glasses and utensils and prevent them from being displaced during use, while the smart bases will keep the Thermoelectric Glass safe and free from shocks on the sides.
Post-Operation: After the glasses are turned off, the pads and bases must be removed from the buffet and cleaned. The pads can be washed with running water and mild soap. To dry, just hang them.
